Spotify offers continuous loop, hard cut loops, and rebound loops to play with – use them all. Keep your Canvas fresh with new releases. Keep your brand front-and-center by telling a story. Don’t put any text like artist name, track, or album names. Canvas is a vertical video format most of the action should be in the upper half of the screen. Don’t use any clips with flashing effects or quick cuts. Avoid using footage with talking or singing. The Spotify for Artists editor will let you crop the portion of the video you want to use. When choosing which video to sample for your Spotify Canvas, here are some helpful tips to consider. Canvas Ratio: 9:16 Height: At least 720px. Spotify Canvas will appear within one hour. In the top right corner of the page, you can "Add Canvas" to any DistroKid upload!Ĭlick here for more information on Spotify Canvas. Once you have claimed your page, head to your Spotify for Artists dashboard, and click on "Music". 
Go to to claim your Spotify for Artists page. Click “Create Canvas” and pick a video from your camera. Pick a song that you distributed using DistroKid. Click the “library” icon at the bottom (looks like books). Once you have claimed your page, sign into the Spotify for Artists mobile app ( iPhone, Android). Go to to claim your Spotify for Artists page. It’s also a great tool to drive increased shares, streams, saves, adds to user playlists, and visits to your artist page.
